Power Outage Peace of Mind
Right after you screw in the bulb, it’s important to keep the light on for 10 consecutive hours to completely charge the battery so your bulb is ready to use in case of an emergency. The bulb automatically recharges when electricity is on.
A Power-Problem Solution
In case of a power outage, if the lamp is turned on, the bulb will stay on. If not, simply turn the lamp on. To use the bulb as a flashlight, make sure the switch is off, unscrew it from the fixture and switch the bulb to the flashlight position for up to 5 hours without power.
